Apparently if I tweet something, it might actually happen, especially if people like it - so thanks to the 8 of you who liked this tweet (I realize this may sound sarcastic to some, but I assure you it is not as it is rare a tweet of mine that receives 8 likes)! Note to self: consider tweeting other positive activities to hold myself accountable (e.g., exercise).
Speaking of exercise, blogging is just like working out: it requires consistency and the longer you go without doing it, the harder it is to begin again. It has been eons since my days of consistent blogging. This blog used to be my first response when someone inquired about my hobbies. Yet, somehow life changed. I moved to Munich and my carefree, on-a-whim life in Germany became all but a distant memory. I started my master's degree, then began working alongside my studies and when that wasn't enough, I began an add-on study program. Basically, some crap happened and keeping busy was by far the best medicine.
Rest assured though, I am still in Munich alive and kickin' and here are some very German photos to prove it.

As time does its thing, flying by faster and faster as one grows older as one gets older, here I am finished with the coursework for my master's degree and my add-on honors degree program, working full-time in a job that is a perfect first step in my career, writing this blog post in my new apartment and trying to figure out what to do with all this free time I suddenly have in my calendar.
It is funny how starting my full-time job allows for more free time than I had before, but alas it is true. I am in discovery mode at the moment - investigating various ways to spend my evenings and weekends now that they are perpetually available. There were a couple obvious fillers here: 1) dating - because I am single AF - and 2) blogging - because it a provides a creative outlet and an engaging community. There is still a Number 3 missing, but hopefully some more time, soul searching, and let's get real, Googling, will help me find the missing piece. Without getting too political on the blog, I am pretty devastated by the outcome of the Presidential election in my homeland, so maybe this is a starting point of action. By the way, the word for campaign in German is Wahlkampf, which can literally translate to choice struggle; if this doesn't sum up the election then I don't know what does.
My list of things to blog about is long. Actually, there are several lists scattered about the many apps I use to organize my life (e.g., Notepad, Evernote, Trello, Wunderlist, Bear), but today wasn't about covering a single topic, it was about writing again. If I managed to write a decent length blog post without really saying anything today, surely I can say something in the future.
Goal for the week: Write a blog post. I am determined to get back to my old hobby now that I have the time.
